Quinta da Freixeira is located in the northwestern limit of the urban center of Lousa-Loures, and the land that composes it are crossed by Nacional Road 8 (EN08). To the southwest of the EN08 there is a smaller plot of land, with around 4.8ha, and to the northeast, several plots of land with around 16.5ha in total. The “World of Wine” project brought to life a set of warehouses that were originally intended for the storage and bottling of Port Wine and which were deactivated and unoccupied at the project's start date. The program for this project brings together in the same location, in the heart of Vila Nova de Gaia, a cultural space, somehow associated with the production of wine, with recreational and leisure activities, restaurants and some small-scale commerce. There are five museums, eight restaurants and cafes, a space for temporary exhibitions and several spaces for events.

Description
Greatly located in St. Flores, in Porto, this building with 500 year of history is a fusion between Classic and Contemporary, sustained by the blend of two buildings: a palace from the XVI Century, and a completely new wing in a total of 66 bedrooms and suites. The design considered, since its beginning, a sustainable approach, with a priority hierarchy: minimizing environmental impact through refurbishment and enhance socioeconomic positive impact through urban revitalization and dynamizing sociocultural aspects of the adjacent urban area. From a structural design perspective, the intervention followed several fundamental principles, such as respect for the memory of the Palace and its elements with patrimonial value to retain, the guidelines from “Direção Regional da Cultura do Norte”, using light solution with minimum intrusion to the existing structure.

Description

Located a 10-minute walking distance from the Underground, standing on the heart of Parque das Nações in Lisbon, the commercial development aiming for BREEAM and Well certifications, and achieve NZEB Carbon Neutrality. The 45.000 m2 office development, which connects to the district heating and cooling network, will be ready for occupancy by the end of 2022. A400 is providing all MEP engineering services, including light design, acoustics and fire; as well as sustainability consulting and energy simulations.

PRIMEZEP is a mixed use building with office (15.412 m2) and commercial spaces (1.741m2), located in the Porto Business Area. With prime accessibility, this building is closely located to the City Underground, Highway and main metropolitan roads. A400 was responsible for all Structural and MEP design, acoustics, fire of the Shell and Core Stage, with great focus on innovation and sustainability. Under LEED “Gold” target, the building will integrate PV Panels, Rainwater harvesting and reusing and infrastructures to support electric mobility. The adoption of BIM methodologies since concept design through construction will allow facility management during operation.

Located in Largo de Sequeira, in Alfama, the Santa Helena Palace building has grown over the centuries and its grandeur and importance materialize in the beauty of various decorative details, like the ceilings amply decorated halls or even a richly and enigmatic chapel. This project returns all identity, revitalizing the building without disrespecting its architectural heritage. With 20 unique apartments, typologies T1 to T5. With gross areas between 51m2 and 483m2, divided between the Patio, the Garden and the Palace, all apartments aim to make the best of each of the spaces in which they operate, including private leisure areas and always with the Tejo river in sight A400 was responsible for all the engineering projects.

Description
With luxurious views to Tejo River and close to Ribeira Market in Cais do Sodré, Lisbon, Ribeira Garden is erupting – a residential building with approximately 7.000 m2, product of the rehabilitation of a XIX century building, with 37 new high-end apartments. The building is located between the intersection between D. Luis Square and St. D. Luis I, with independent entrances from each of these arteries, and recovering the classic façade of a historical building from the 1800s. The internal structure, completely new, approaches a design that is simultaneously contemporaneous to the building, with apartments with elegant and modern lines with areas between 62 m2 and 226 m2, distributed along 5 floors.

Located in Alcântara, in Lisbon, on the riverside between Ponte 25 de Abril and Terreiro do Paço, these two buildings will be the first of a total set of 8 premium residential buildings. Overlooking the Tejo River, Monsanto and the city of Lisbon, the project is based on an architectural solution of quality, modernity and sophistication, inserted in a place with outdoor gardens and carefully designed accessibility for families. The project is located in an area of the city of Lisbon in full development, which has been the scene of a diverse range of events in the areas of fashion, communication, art, architecture, music, among others. With gross areas between 64m2 and 278m2, in this first stage 68 premium apartments will be available, out of a total of 218 apartments, from T1 to T4 duplex. A400 was responsible for all the engineering projects, being the project developed in BIM technology.
